Menu Item Search
If you are craving a particular food and want to see what restaurants in your area serve that item, this is the search you would use.
Different ways to search:

  • Phrases
Example: chicken parmesan. If you type in both words, you could find a dish which had roasted chicken and parmesan toasts. This wouldn't be what you want. You may enclose the words in "" to search the phrase "chicken parmesan". This will find items with the word chicken next to parmesan.
  • Wildcards
Example: chicken parmesan. A restaurant could spell parmesan as parmigiana. The solution is to stop the word at the point where you would find the most results. Parm would find chicken parmesan, chicken parmigiana, chicken parm, chicken parmalamalam, etc.
  • Searching a Whole Menu
If you try to search different menu items within a menu, you will run into problems. This search only looks for words in a single menu item. For example, if you search for crab cake cheesecake, chances are, you won't find anything. Perform two separate searches, one for "crab cake" and another for cheesecake.
